This Hammerhead Shark is carved out of Sequoia Redwood from Northern California. All these sharks are hand carved here in North Carolina, a West Coast wood with an East Coast Vibe. All the shark carvings will have their own specific grain designs, meaning no shark carving will look alike giving it that extra one of a kind design just for you.

These Shark Carvings are made from one of the oldest living things on this Earth. I have worked with many different kinds of timber but Redwood has to be one of the most gorgeous woods I have ever worked with. Not only does it display some amazing grain textures but it is rare to come across unless you live on the west coast. This is how I have incorporated the design to have a mixture of the two coasts.
